Welcome to Cooking With Shalini Today we will make Indian Sweet Boondi It is very tasty dessert made from sweetened, fried chickpea flour Boondi is a Religious Offering which we serve to God INGREDIENTS MENTIONED ABOVE Lets start making Boondi Take 1 cup of Gram Flour and shift it in a Bowl Add a Pinch of Orange food color Add a Pinch of Baking Soda Mix it well and make smooth batter add water slowlylittle by littleso that no lumps are formed Mix it well Add more water you can see no lumps are formed in our batter add little water more to make smooth and plain batter mix it well Consistency should be dropping and smooth Keep it aside for ten minutes Add half spoon of refined oil in batter Give it a good mix Now we will make sugar syrup take half cup of sugar and it to Pan Add less than half cup of water in it Mix it Properly we will make thin sugar syrupit should not form strings we will not make it thick Heat the oil in other Pan Sugar syrup is ready now Switch off the flame and add a pinch of orange food color in sugar syrup Mix it well Color is mixed well Now we will make our boondi Refined oil is hot now low the flame Take a Slotted Spoon Now take a Slotted spoon and add the batter on it You can see round boondi is formed out of this slotted spoon Tap it as shown You can see how beautiful it is looking Switch flame on high Crispy Boondi is ready we will take them out To add more Batter first clean your slotted spoon to use it next time Flame should be on high do not add too much batter into the Pan you can see it is very easy to prepare it with a slotted spoon We use it on regularly basis in our housewe don't need to buy special mold to make it Make this Sweet on Festivals When added in sugar syrup it tastes more good and looks tempting Take this out now Now add Boondi in Sugar Syrup and mix it well Keep it aside for 15 – 20 minutes Boondi is ready to eatif you like my recipe then do share, like and subscribe my channel Thank You
