Sweet Recipe: Chena Poda Please click on subscribe button to subscribe to my channel Kindly press the bell button for new upload notifications Hi I am Rasmi, welcome you all to my channel 'Ama Roseighara' Today I will be making authentic sweet of Odisha: Chena Poda (Cheese cake) ingredients: 15 ltr milk Sugar- 150 gram 2 tablespoon Semolina/Sooji/Rava Vinegar/Lemon juice – 2 tablespoon Clarified butter/Ghee – 2 tablespoon Few cashewnut Other dryfruits Cardamom Pods – 2 teaspoon 1 banana leaf or butter paper Let's prepare the chhena/Cottage cheese First boil the milk Now add 1 tablespoon vinegar and let the milk cuddle If milk is not transparent then add 1 more tablespoon vinegar Now our chhena is ready as milk look transparent Don't over boil it as we need soft cheena here We need this chhena water whiling kneading the chhena Drain water using a cotton towel Transfer chhena into a mixing bowl Let's mix the chhena using a spoon as it is hot Because if we keep it for long to cool down, chhena will be hard Now chhena is not hot, lets add 2 tablespoon semolina/sooji Mix it nicely Add sugar Knead for sometime, no need to make it very smooth Now add cardamom Dryfruits You can keep few for garnishing Add clarified butter/ghee – 1 tablespoon Now add chhena water for make the batter little thin Now chhena batter is ready Take a Aluminium dish / cake tin grease with Ghee Keep babana leaf or butter paper inside the dish/tin grease with Ghee Transfer the batter In a big Dish/Pressure cooker add salt Let it heat for 5 mins If doing in pressure cooker do remember to remove the whistle Now keep the tin inside and cook for 50 mins-1 hours on low flame After 50 mins check Careful as it will be so hot

Now our cheena poda is ready Use a knife to remove the sides Now remove leaf or butter paper Our Chhena poda is ready enjoy!! Do try this at home See you in the next one Bye bye
