Hello friends! welcome to Indian recipes in Tamil Besan Ladoo Besan Peda Please Like, Share & Subscribe INGREDIENTS Coconut – 250 grams(125 grams to make coconut milk and remaining 125 grams to make desiccated coconut) Milk – 250 ml(heated and cooled) Cardamom – 2 Besan Flour – 150 grams Ghee – 120 ml Cane Sugar/Jaggery – 150 grams step 1 COCONUT MILK Fresh Coconut – 1 cup(250 grams) Dry roast in medium flame for about 10 minutes or until it becomes completely dry Cardamom – 2 Now the coconut is dry Transfer it to a plate and allow it to cool down Add half of the coconut and grind it along with 250 ml of milk Initially add little milk, grind the coconut, then add the remaining milk and grind Keep it aside Step – 2 Fresh Desiccated Coconut Pulse the remaining coconut and dry roast it for 2 minutes in low flame I'm doing this step to prepare desiccated coconut to decorate the sweet It's done, keep it aside Step – 3 PREPARE BESAN MIXTURE Besan flour – 150 grams Sieve it to remove coarse particles Melt 120 ml of Ghee in a pan Add the besan flour and roast it until the raw smell leaves(Add some more ghee if required) Roast it for 6-7 minutes in medium low flame Add in 150 grams of sugar(Here I used Organic Cane Sugar) You can replace it with Jaggery Mix it well Add the ground coconut milk and start stirring Keep stirring all the time so that no lumps are formed After few minutes it will begin to thicken and would start leaving the sides of the pan This is the right time to turn off the stove and transfer it to a plate Step 4 Make Ladoo/Peda Grease your hands with ghee and make ladoo or flatten after making balls Choice is yours! Freshly made desiccated coconut Besan sweets are ready! Decorate it with pistachios or serve it as it is Refrigerate before serving Step – 5 Taste it!
