PEACE BE UPON YOU Today we are going to make Chicken Angara Let's checkout what all we need This is a simplified way of making Chicken Angara and the taste is restaurant style

let's begin by taking Roast them and grind them to make a powder These chillies lend a good color and they are less spicy Remove their seeds and soak in warm water for half an hour Later make a fine paste and keep ready Put gashes on the chicken like this Let's marinate the chicken Hung curd means that water is removed from the curd it should be dry as shown

The spices that we had made a powder of in the beginning we will add that here We will also add the kashmiri chilli paste that we prepared We will add half of it here This is a home made garam masala powder i have uploaded a video on how to make it Please find the link in the description

mix well keep in fridge for an hour to marinate Chicken is marinated Take half cup oil in a wok You can increase or decrease the quantity of oil as per your need

add the chicken pieces one by one keep the flame high let chicken pieces fry on one side for 5 to 7 minutes They are fried properly on one side now let's turn them be careful As you can see this is how they should look

exactly this way Only then our Chicken Angara will taste superb This is what we need We have turned all the pieces we will fry them the same way on the other side too

The chicken is well cooked on the other side too You can see here add the puree while making the flame low

I have taken two onions chopped them, fried them, and then crushed them You can use a mixer to crush them or hand crush them you can also use the ready made birista or fried onions if you want Add the red chilli paste that we had put aside after adding half of it for marination Red chilli paste will enhance the color of our Chicken Angara

We are not using any artificial color mix well The remaining ground spices that were left over in the bowl of the marinated chicken we will add them here mix well cover and cook for 5 to 7 minutes on a low flame Wow i can smell the tempting aroma and you can see the color has also come up well It is quite thick we will need to add some water to adjust its consistency

i have added about one glass of water You can adjust the thickness as per your needs Angara gravy is usually thick we will now cook for 5 to 7 minutes lets add a little more water here keep the flame on high we had added salt at the time of marination we have also added some tomatoes and onions hence we will add a little extra salt to balance the taste

I have soaked 12 almonds and made a paste of them we will add it here Some fresh cream mix well cover and cook on low flame for 5 minutes i am lighting a coal here by the time the chicken cooks the coal will also be ready i just can't explain the aroma that is being emitted The gravy is perfect

It will still thicken The coal is ready We need to give a smokey flavour to our Angara Put off the flame at this point Place a small container in the center Place 3 to 4 cloves

Now place the burning coal in it Add one tsp ghee over the coal cover and let it lie for ten minutes so that the smokey flavour blends well with our Chicken Angara Ten minutes have lapse NOW LETS SMELL THE MAGIC
