hello friends welcome back to another hello can I have your attention welcome to another cook with us video today we're gonna show you how we do our air fried chicken thighs and we actually did this a couple weeks back I showed you guys in my vlog the outcome but it turned out so good so we wanted to recreate it and it's super easy so we want to share with you all how we do it so Brandon is the master chef as you saw in the last episode so he's gonna show us how he marinates chicken we do chicken thighs you can do anything we just like dark means well you tried boneless chicken but the bone in just tastes better plus it comes with skin so when we throw it in the air fire it gets nice and crispy and it just gives it so much more flavor so this is definitely easier to like eat more convenient it's quicker to cut pretty good so first thing you want to always do with all the type of meat that you're usually cooking is just like dry it off when you cook it it gets you like a crispy outside too so what you want to do next is if you have a brush a lot better lightly coat each chicken thigh with some avocado oil we use avocado oil just because it has a super high burn point because we're gonna be cooking it in the airfryer at like 400 degrees so if you're using like a lot of different like coconut oil or something like that it'll burn super quick we're also marinating a lot right now but when we actually cook them we're only gonna cook four of them these are best when you eat them right after you make them we are adding oil to both sides because when we cook it in the airfryer we're gonna flip them as well so you want to make sure that both sides are seasoned and grease hurts so much and I'm gonna flip them over and you got to do the other side give him a little pat to spank one power through you got three more where are we going to use fresh ground pepper you need an electronic one what had money for that release $30 so is this gonna be similar to like salting stakes it gives you that same oh okay but also the way that we made these last time they came out so moist so crunchy so delicious so whatever we're doing obviously it's working first up cayenne this gives it some spice so obviously add however much you're comfortable with but brand I can eat real spicy so we're putting on a generous amount but these are probably gonna come out like medium spicy not anything crazy but we're only gonna spice up for them because these are gonna be the ones that we cook right now next step chili powder what's this stuff do any more just another spice they're like just do it he said so this is smoked paprika this will kind of give it a nice little smoky flavor you don't need a whole lot well less generous with the smoked paprika it can kind of overpower it these are a real saucy and last when you put a little garlic powder in there cuz who doesn't like garlic period I was just like three pounds of spices on it look how thick the spices are you trust me when it comes out it'll be perfect oh yeah push that spice in repeat on the other side just president bag oh my aggressive there so before tomorrow okay so this is the airfryer that we're using I'll go ahead and link it on Amazon but we really really like it we have two of these we currently have it on 375 and we have it turned on right now just so it can kind of preheat this is the before coming in hot struggle in a little bit say that was literally the most troubled this is Brandon lot the shit out of you I was like trying so hard while the chicken thighs are in the airfryer I want to show you guys how I make my boobs so we picked this up at alfred's T it's a local la teashop and they're selling their boba pretty much all that I do is I wait until the water is boiling so I have the heat on high the lid covered Brandon's also cutting up some taters cuz that's gonna be our sides for the chicken thighs we did potatoes in our last cook with that episode we're pretty much doing them the same exact way whoa that's a lot actually I think this is a good amount cuz pretty much only me and Brandon and these expand really really big I am just gonna leave them in here for 15 minutes I'm gonna turn this down to about a low/medium we cover them and let them sit also forgot I've been liking to add coconut sugar or brown sugar sure if you want to just because it kind of gives the boba some flavor so they're not pacing also you want to make sure that you add a lot of water because these Balch soak up a lot of water so my timer is going off so we're just giving them a nice little Fleck they've been in there for nine minutes and they're going back in for another nine minutes that was much smoother than the last time I hurt your wrist doesn't it hey you stop making a ruckus over there time afore the chicken has gone off so chicken is not yet done so we're flipping it and we're gonna put it in there for a couple more minutes they've been in there for a total of 18 minutes now in the meantime my balls are boiling I stir every few minutes just to make sure that they don't stick to each other and low-key the song I may have added a little bit too much water but it's fine we're gonna cut into one and see if it's cooked oh bloody rockin and goes for another two minutes also last time we made our chicken thighs we ended up brushing on some bacon grease so you can totally do that if you want so good and add in so much flavor if we didn't have any bacon grease this time around she's so just a doing another check Oh little bit more rest understand yeah the skin looks amaze yeah so juicy more time more okay so timer went off for the boba and I just tasted one and it tastes done I'm gonna turn off the heat for these and let them sit in there for another 15 minutes while the boba is cooking in there I'm gonna make some matcha if you guys watched my last vlog I shared how much latte so this is pretty much the same thing I'm gonna make enough for me in Brandon so I'm going to double the portions so I'm gonna use four of these scoops no she's gonna try not to spill their softest or not oh so much last time this matcha is one of the I have tried and I think it works really really well for matcha lattes we're out a little bit of oat milk just so that we can whisk it up also my hand whisk randomly isn't working so I think it's out of batteries but you can use a hand whisk or for Wow talk about some like wrist action how good then the its feelin smells like diabetes no we're gonna take some cold water kind of just run it through helps the boats kind of cool and they don't stick to each other – oh that just fell in there Wow Brenda likes not a lot I like a lot so yeah I put our mock jetta in the fridge so we're just gonna add half this I have to do pretty good the potatoes are taking longer than expected and the chicken we took out about five minutes ago so we're actually gonna throw the taters in the airfryer now that it's open because it cooks so much faster in there for her so taters are done Bon Appetit oh my god so that is the end of today's episode of cook with us I hope you all enjoyed that meal was delicious
