Delicious Kaddu ka Halwa – Bottle Gourd recipe



In the name of ALLAH, Most Merciful, Most Gracious Peace be unto you Welcome to MJ's Kitchen Today's recipe is Kaddu ka Halwa fresh bottle gourd is available so I decided to make halwa of it

Let's start to make halwa I turned on flame add 1~1¼ kg graded bottle gourd throw away the seeds part while grating add 750 ml Milk milk starts boiling, cover & let it cook for 5~7 minutes at medium flame cooked for about 8 minutes now add 1 cup Sugar I use low sugar in my recipes so I add only 1 cup you can add 1¼ cup if want you more sweetness cooked it for about 15~20 minutes after adding sugar, Sugar water & milk is dried out now add ½ cup Desi Ghee, you can substitute it with vegetable ghee & ¼ tsp Cardamom Powder, give it a good fry milk becomes khoa after being cooked Halwa is well cooked, now add ¼ cup Milk Powder, you can substitute milk powder with Khoa, 2 tbsp chopped Almonds, mix it, now add ½ cup Coconut, I'm not adding any food color, but you can add 1 drop of green color if you want coconut is well mixed, now turn off the flame
