today we will make sabut moong dal recipe soak moong dal for about 4-5 hours transfer dal into a pressure cooker, add 2 1/2 cup of water add in salt and turmeric powder as well cover the lid and bring one pressure on high heat then simmer the flame and cook it for 7-8 min meanwhile, lets make its masala for that heat a wok add ghee or oil into this once ghee heats up, add whole spices, let them crackle for few seconds now add chopped onions and fry them till they become light golden in color add in green chilies as well now add all powdered spices and ginger garlic paste by adding water little by little fry it well for 2-3 min now add chopped tomatoes and fry it for 2-3 min or till they become soft dal has been cooked nicely

we will adjust its consistency by adding hot water our tomatoes are cooked nicely, now add in cooked dal into this masala mixture adjust its consistency by adding hot water ( i am adding here 1/2 cup of hot water ) cook it on low to medium heat for 2-3 minutes garnish it with Julian ginger, green chilis and coriander leaves mix well and serve hot
