Eggs are laid by female animals of many different species, and humans have been eating them since around 7500BC.
In the kitchen eggs are irreplaceable, as we used them in savoury dishes, sauces, dessert and on their own.
Eggs are tricky to cook, the yolk starts cooking at 65ºC so timing is crucial.
In this video I will show you 6 different ways to cook an egg.
#1 Never salt the water used to poach an egg.
#2 Always control the temperature of your pan, if it gets too hot just remove it from the stove.
#3 If you are boiling an egg, make sure the water is actually boiling.
