[UltraVid id=287 ]hi I’m Susanna and today I’ll show you how to prepare simply lasagna from the Kraft kitchens if you’re looking for an Italian dish that’s easy to make this is just the right recipe for you so to start out I’m going to brown one pound of ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat meanwhile let’s make the filling for our lasagna in my bowl I have a fifteen ounce container of Palio ricotta cheese and to that I’m going to add one and a quarter cups of Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese 1/4 cup of Kraft grated Parmesan cheese 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley and one egg and let’s mix this up until it’s combined well now that the meat is cooked through we’re going to drain it and then return it to the skillet add one 24 ounce jar of spaghetti sauce to the meat and now we’re going to add one cup of water to the spaghetti sauce jar put the lid back on close it tight and give it a good shake you really want to make sure you shake this well before adding it back to the meat mixture now stir this mixture until well combined now it’s time to assemble our lasagna we’ll start by adding 1 cup of our meat sauce to the bottom of a 13 by 9 baking dish now let’s add three of our uncooked lasagna noodles and we’ll talk this with 1/3 of the ricotta cheese filling and let’s spread this around now we’re going to add another cup of the meat sauce top that right on and we’ll repeat these layers two more times if you’re worried the lasagna noodles don’t look big enough fear not they’re going to expand while the lasagna bakes and it’s going to come out perfect now we’re down to our last layer so we’ll add our last three lasagna noodles and we’ll top it with the remainder of the meat sauce we’re ready to top the lasagna with our cheese I have one and a quarter cups Kraft shredded mozzarella cheese and 1/4 cup of Kraft grated Parmesan cheese and now we can cover the lasagna with foil that’s been sprayed with cooking spray and this is going to prevent the cheese from sticking to the aluminum foil bake the lasagna for one hour or until heated through at 350 degrees removing the foil after 45 minutes once cooked allow the lasagna to stand for 15 minutes before cutting to serve since this comfort food classic serves 12 it’s the perfect dish to serve at your next large gathering for family and friends for more great recipe ideas and cooking tips visit craft recipes calm you
