How to Make Simple Grilled Salmon | The Stay At Home Chef



Today on The Stay At Home Chef I'm showing you how to make The Best Grilled Salmon Recipe When it comes to grilling sometimes the best recipes are the most simple ones Today's recipe for grilled salmon is truly simple and easy but I promise you it packs a lot of flavor and that's all thanks to the grill To start you'll need 4 portions of skin on salmon That's really important for the grill Then we're going to drizzle on about 1 tablespoon of olive oil and rub it in Then we're just going to add on a little bit of salt and black pepper And that's it! I told you I'm keeping things simple today The best grilled salmon is the most simple one and we're going to let the grill do all the work and really let the salmon shine But if you want to use my best salmon marinade recipe or add different seasonings you can totally do that with this same method Next preheat an outdoor grill to high heat so that it's smoking hot or about 500 degrees Fahrenheit Place the salmon flesh side down directly onto the grill Then we're going to close the grill lid and let this cook for 3 to 4 minutes The best part about salmon is that you'll know it's ready to flip because it will release itself from the grill grates Then gently flip it and let it finish cooking with the skin side down Close the lid again and let it finish cooking It should need about another 4 minutes Salmon is done cooking when it reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees Fahrenheit Salmon doesn't need to rest at all so you are ready to eat! Serve these up hot with some lemon wedges so that you can squeeze a little bit of lemon juice right over it just before eating Thanks for watching!
