Kachri curry Kachri grows on its own(need not to be sown) It can be eaten raw /cooked/dried It has herbal goodness It is cure for gastric problems Its roots helps in destroying kidney stones Lets learn the recipe It has to be checked for bitterness If these are ripe,need not to be peeled Light the stove,take a pot and add oil Add black mustard seeds and cumin seeds When they start crackling ,add chopped green chilly Add chopped kachri Stir Add turmeric powder ,chilly powder , coriander powder and salt to taste then stir and cover it with a lid for sometime Grind garlic to paste Add garlic paste to curry Keep it on flame and put the lid again for few minutes till it gets soft and cooked Its cooked
