boil 25 liter of water on high heat once boil come add all whole spices, oil, lemon juice and salt add soaked rice and cook them on medium high heat for about 10-12 min rice has been cooked 75-80%, strain them and keep aside heat a pan add 120 ml ( 1/2 cup ) of oil once oil heats up add whole spices, saute them for few seconds add onions and fry them till they turn nicely golden in color add ginger garlic paste and all powdered spices you can add 1 tbsp biryani masala powder as well fry it for 2 min on medium heat add tomatoes and green chilies cover the lid and cook it for 2-3 min on low heat to soften the tomatoes add chicken and fry it nicely add yogurt and lemon juice add coriander and mint leaves as well fry it till water gets dry add 1/3 cup of water, cover the lid and cook it for 15 min on low heat dry excess water on high heat make biryani layers turn on the flame and cover the lid, keep flame high for 2 min place heavy bottom tawa or net under the pot and dam biryani for 20-25 min on low heat
