Welcome to Ashu's Home Kitchen Today our recipe is Matar Paneer means cottage cheese and peas curry recipe Ingredients

200g Cottage cheese cut in square shape one cup frozen green peas or take fresh green peas if available Coriander leaves

one big onion roughly chopped red chili powder (Kashmiri Lal Mirch) Coriander powder 3 tbsp Fresh Curd (Beaten Curd) 4 tbsp oil ginger paste

cumin powder salt to taste

turmeric powder 2 tomato chopped in medium small size dry spice – 5-6 cloves (crushed) 10 seeds black pepper (crushed)

Green cardamom seeds (crushed) fennel fruits (crushed) 1 tsp Cumin seeds 5-6 garlic cloves & 2 green chilies cut longitudinally take non stick wok heat up the wok

add 1 tbsp oil let it heat up it's ready add the garlic cloves fry it for 1 minute add onion saute it for a while till it gets little soft u can also use here butter saute for it for 1 minute keep the flame on medium high now add the chopped tomato

mix & saute it for 1/2 minute add the crushed cardamom crushed black pepper crushed clove crushed funnel fruit mix it well

cover it for one minute to cook it little bit After 1 minute it has good fragrance check the tomatoes

if it skin peeled out then switch off the stove now it is ready it took 4 minutes let the mixer cool for a while

& then make a fine paste in mixer grinder now make heat the wok add oil 3 tbsp let it warm meanwhile we will mix the all spice & prepare the semisolid paste

here i will take 1 tsp coriander powder + 1 tsp red chili (Kashmiri red chili) + 1 tsp turmeric powder + 1 tsp cumin powder + salt to taste mix it then add some water up to cover the content of the vessel

keep the wet mixer aside to adsorb the water now will do next process now add cumin in the heated wok saute it for 1/2 minute add green chilies

stir it with oil add ginger paste mix it for 1/2 minute now add the fine paste prepared earlier (garlic + onion + tomato) stir the mixer

on medium flame cook it for 2-3 minutes till the paste releases the oil now 3 minutes are over now the add the wet spice mixer

which was kept aside for while stir it well continuous for a while after this cover wok for 1-2 minutes to cook mixer properly After 2 minutes

the mixer seems cooked properly now reduce the temperature of mixer & add curd and mix it soon with the mixer stir the mixer

for a while after 1-2 minutes stirring turn the stove on medium high the curd will give you the tangy & delicious flavor now again turn the stove on medium flame

After up to 2 minutes stirring now i will add frozen peas and 1/2 cup water keep it to cook for 2 minutes by covering the wok

2 minutes are over peas are cooked now add the cottage cheese coat it with the mixer paste our recipe it almost ready

wait for a minute so the cottage cheese will absorb the flavor of gravy to get the delicious taste Please keep it cover for a minute 1 minute is over

our recipe is ready switch off the stove now we will serve it now friends its ready cottage cheese & peas curry recipe

we will garnish it with coriander leaves and with a green chili strips by removing it's seeds it is optional up to you if you want Recipe is ready its very easy to cook & delicious in taste serve it with Indian bread (roti, chapati, paratha etc) or with steam rice
