Mit Lailolem – Cured Pork Curry-Goan Authentic Recipe



Hello, lets cook Curry of Cured/Preserved Pork with salt As the Meat is hardened with salt, soak it for atleast 2 hours in fresh water Changing water as required to remove the saltiness When the meat softened wash again Pork is cleaned and ready to cut into desired pieces To make curry: 1 Fresh coconut(desiccated 300 g) 3 red chilly, half teaspoon cumin seeds, 5-6 garlic flakes, Tamarind 30 g and 2 onions half teaspoon Turmeric powder (turperic piece 25 g) water as required Grind all ingredients except onions slice onions and saute for 1-2 minutes without oil, now add pork pieces add little water and mix well close the lid parboil till the onion becomes soft check for salt add the ground ingredients mix well add the turmeric powder close the lid and cook for 12-15 minutes check the consistency of the curry Pork curry is ready to serve Enjoy the different taste of the preserved pork with salt
