Oats idly in Tamil | Oats Receipes in Tamil | How to Cook Oats idly at Home | With English subtitles



Ingredients – 2 cup of Oats, 3/4 cup of curd and 1/2 cup of Rava For seasoning – mustard seeds, urad dal, cashew nuts, Chana dal and Coriander leaves Optionally green chillies and carrot can be added Dry roast oats for 2 mins till it becomes hot Grind it into fine powder Add rava and salt to the oats powder Add curd(Sourless) and mix it Add water as required and mix it well to idly batter consistency Now add coriander leaves and mix it Add baking soda(optional) for idly softness For seasoning, heat 2 tsp of oil, add mustard seeds and urad dal When it splutters, add chana dal and cashew nut Fry the cashew until it turns golden brown Mix it with the idly batter Grease the idly mould with oil and fill it with the batter Heat the water in idly cooker till it reaches boiling point Now place the mould inside the idly cooker Steam for 5-8 minutes Insert a toothpick or knife in the idli If it comes out clean, idli is fully cooked Oats idli is ready, serve it with tasty tomato chutney
