Thank you This arugula salad will make your taste buds explode Sweetness from pear poached in a red wine baked beets, crunchy caramelized walnuts and goat cheese Topped with a homemade maple balsamic vinaigrette I'm starting with cleaning the beets I have one golden and one red beet Cut off the ends and peel them Please subscribe to my channel press the bell to get notified for the future videos Cut the beets in the large cubes For this recipe I'm using one small red beet and half of the golden Season it with salt and pepper Add some olive oil and mix it well Put on the baking sheet and cook at 350 degrees for about 45 to 55 minutes Or until it's soft While my beats are in the oven I'm prepping my other ingredients To prevent my pears from browning I got the bowl of water And adding some lemon juice into it Peel the pear lice them cut the seeds out and put them in the water To make caramelized walnuts toast the walnuts for about 30 to 45 seconds Add one tablespoon of butter and half a cup of sugar Constantly stir the walnuts to prevent sugar from burning When they ready transfer to the baking sheet covered with silicon mat and spread them out Make sure you don't touch them with your bare hands It will burn you badly While the walnuts are cooling down I am poaching the pear Preheat the pan, put the butter and some oil

To prevent the butter from burning Place the pears in a pan Add brown sugar, season it was salt, to balance the flavors And add one cup of Cabernet Sauvignon Lower the heat and continue to cook reducing the wine, about 10 minutes Pear will come out tender, buttery and sweet Transfer to the pan and drizzle with the pan sauce Walnuts are ready Transfer them to the bowl For the dressing combine olive oil, Dijon mustard maple syrup balsamic vinegar and season it with salt and pepper Fold the towel and put it underneath the bowl to prevent it from sliding while you whisking Whisk it well until your dressing is emulsified For the goat cheese I'm combining dry oregano and sweet paprika Mix it well and rub your spices into the goat cheese Let's put our ingredients together Put your arugula salad in the bowl add beets candied walnuts drizzle some dressing and mix it cut your goat cheese and it's time to plate Put your arugula at the center of the plate Get some walnuts and beets out add pears crumble goat cheese drizzle some dressing for the decoration Thank you for watching the video Enjoy
