Parupu urundai gravy please subscribe this channel for more videos Let's see the ingredients first first we will see the ingredients for urundai balls soak chana dhal and toor dhal for half an hour salt to taste onion – 1 curry leaves green chilli -2 garlic cloves – 3 hing powder – 1/3 tsp turmeric powder – 1/2 tsp if u want add 2 tsp grated coconut in it wash the dhal and add into the mixer with garlic cloves grind it coarsely without adding water now add all the ingredients one by one salt as needed mix it well and make balls like this then keep it aside then cook it in a idli cooker for 10 minutes then transfer it let's see the ingredients for the gravy tomato – 1 onion – 1 garlic cloves – 5 mustard and anise – 1/2 spoon each and methi seeds less than 1/3 tsp currry leaves chilli powder – 2 tsp turmeric powder – /2 tsp salt to taste oil – 3 tsp then grind 1/2 cup coconut with 8 cashews and a spoon of cumin seeds grind it like a paste by add some water take tamarind water by soaking a big gooseberry size lemon lets see the preparation first heat oil in a pan now add the anise,mustard and methi seeds then fry onion , garlic and curry leaves in it now add tomato in it then add chilli powder and turmeric powder in it mix it and add the filtered tamarind water in it then add the reqjuired amount of water along with salt allow to boil for 5 minutes then add the grinded coconut paste into it mix well boil it again for 5 minutes now add the balls one by one in it cook it for 5 to 8 minutes until the balls cooked thoroughly now the gravy becomes thick too it is ready now it is very well with rice, idli, dosa and chapati try this and post ur comments
