[UltraVid id=571 ]welcome to let’s be food II today I’ll share a very famous Indian dessert recipe of rasmalai which is prepared with Indian cottage cheese and soaked in sweet milk here are the required ingredients let’s begin for making rasmalai first we’ll prepare chena heat pan on medium heat and add 900 ml whole cow milk keep stirring so that it doesn’t stick to the bottom of pan a scrub sites as well let milk come to the boil milk is boiling turn off the heat and let this sit for 1 and 1/2 minute add 2 tbsp white vinegar stirring gently add some more vinegar leave for a minute and then you will see it has curdled properly Lynas Eve with muslin cloth or cheesecloth over a big bowl drain it wash it well with water so that there is no smell of vinegar left in China pick up your cloth and it squeeze it with light hand do not apply much pressure make sure there is no water left make a knot in hand cheesecloth for 30 minutes that will remove all the extra liquid now I will prepare milk for less malai in a pan I have already added 2 tbsp water this will prevent milk from sticking to the bottom add 500ml milk keep stirring continuously for 20 minutes here I have taken 1/4 TSP of sugar to this I have added few strands of saffron and I am going to crush this this will give very nice color in your milk now add this in milk give this a good star and you will see the color of milk a chain it has turned light yellow now to this I’ll add 1/2 teaspoon of fennel powder 1/2 teaspoon of cardamom powder give this a good stir and cook for 10 minutes now I’ll add 1/2 cup of sugar you can adjust as per your taste again give this a good stir here I have taken some sliced pistachio and almonds you can add powder of this if you want now I’ll add this into our milk give this a good stir cook for 5 minutes and turn off this dough and let this cool down let’s check our China so this is how our China looks after 30 minutes now I’ll break this and I’ll need it using a palm knee china for about 5 minutes with light pressure I will need this chain of 4 about 4 times and the China will become smooth and you will also see by kneading that it will release its fat and your hand will be little greasy now to this I am going to add 2 pinches of yellow color now I’ll mix the color in China after mixing color this is how it looks I am going to roll this this will make roughly about 8 rasmalai now cut 1 small size and then make a long ball and then flatten a bit this is how you have to do it repeat the process for rest of them put water in pressure cooker up to one inch and add 1/4 cup of sugar bring it to boil once it start boiling add cheese balls I am adding 6 cheese balls enviros Kuna video I have shown part method today I am sharing pressure cooker method with you all close the lid wait for two vessels on medium high heat after 2 whistles remove cooker from electric stove and let the electric stove heat come down to medium low and then put it back on stove for 3 minutes if you have gas stove referred annotation appearing on in this video turn off the stove after 3 minutes and keep it aside open the pressure cooker once it will cool down completely after approximates Wow as you can see that they have doubled in size now I’m going to take out the cheese balls lightly I’ll squeeze and add in prepared milk repeat the process for rest of the cheese balls let this cool down completely and then we’ll refrigerate this at least for six hours it’s been six eyes let’s check how I rasmalai looks first thing I want to show you that how spongy it is I’ll squeeze and it won’t break I am going to dip this again in the milk and it will soak milk and retain its shape it means it’s very spongy now I am going to break this and I’ll show you how it looks from inside you can see they are very fine pores it means it’s very light and airy so these are spongy and mouth melting rasmalai enjoy eating this with your family do try this delicious recipe and let us know how it turned out for you put your comments below in comment section and Cheer experience with us and if you like this video give a thumbs up please share on social network isman like and subscribe today to let’s be food if you have it yet I will back soon with many more delicious recipes until next time bye if we like this video don’t forget to hit like button ref or my other videos as well for delicious recipes and you can also find let’s be foodie on Facebook Google+ Twitter and Pinterest thanks for watching don’t forget to subscribe it’s free
