Today we are going to prepare crispy Salli Chicken (chicken with potato straws) We have cut the chicken into such pieces you can see the pieces are not too thick we have to cut small, thin pieces We have washed & dried the chicken there should be no water left in the chicken Let's marinate the chicken You may use 1 tsp lemon juice instead Mix everything properly and let it marinate for an hour If you are falling short of time then marinate it for at least half an hour With the help of a grater, we are going to grate potatoes We are using small sized potatoes here If you are using big ones, then take 1 to 2 potatoes We have to grate potatoes in the corn flour When the chicken is marinated after an hour, we will start the process of grating the potatoes or else the potatoes may turn black We have grated the potatoes gently mix them with the corn flour This will help to get rid of the moisture in the potatoes and the potatoes will be really crispy when fried We have mixed it with the corn flour properly We want the straws of grated potatoes to be separate you may use some more corn flour if needed and carefully bring the potatoes to this texture these potatoes straws are not very sticky in fact they are separate as you can see Mix once and keep it ready We will heat oil in a vessel The chicken is well marinated Pick one chicken piece and put it on the grated potato straws Place the straws properly over the chicken and press gently Give it a nice shape Salli chicken is ready to be fried Similarly, we will prepare rest of the chicken Oil is well heated and the flame is lowered We will fry these at low flame We need to have patience while frying these at low flame as the chicken is raw so we want the chicken to be cooked properly and the potato straws to become crispy It will take 7-8 minutes for these to fry We have cooked them from one side at low flame for 3-4 minutes Salli chicken has become crispy now We have increased the flame We will fry them using a high flame till they are golden in color We will show you how crispy the Crispy Salli Chicken has become Friends if you'll like my video Then please hit the 'like' button Do like & share my videos If you wish to know more about my recipes then please mention it in the 'comments' section because reading your comments gives me immense pleasure
