we will be making halwa of one cup semolina we will add it in water we will on the flame and cook till the sugar dissolves we will keep on stirring

Sugar has melted now we will add mix well the syrup has come to a boil now we will allow it to cook for 2 to 3 minutes then we will put off the flame We have pre heated a pan We have taken one full cup semolina Sugar we have taken little less than one cup Water we have taken 2 and half cup Please keep this measurements in mind

Sugar you can use according to your needs If you like more sweet use more sugar we need to keep on stirring and roast it well The trick to make a nice halwa is you roast the semolina well on a low flame We will dry roast at the moment

later we will roast it by adding ghee this way the semolina halwa will be granulated and will taste better You can see the that the texture has changed Its roasted well We will transfer it to another vessel

Take half cup ghee in a pan ghee is hot enough Now we will add dry fruits to it we will use 3/4 th of it and save the rest for garnishing We will roast on a low flame for about 2 minutes

This will enhance the flavour Roast well till the color changes slightly This process can take 3 to 4 minutes Now add some Raisins We did not add Raisins with the dry fruits because they will swell before time As you can see the Raisins have roasted along with the Semolina

We have nicely roasted it for about 5 to 7 minutes I am sure you can see the difference in the color which has changed slightly and the i can smell the tempting aroma We will now add the sugar syrup Please keep the flame low while adding the syrup i had soaked some saffron in warm milk which i will add here

This will enhance the flavour and color both We will put the flame on high and cook while stirring The semolina tends to swell three to four times of its size, when cooked When we see that it has reached its boil we will cover it while putting the flame on low

and cook for 3 to 4 minutes, so that it swells enough Wow you can see the Semolina has been cooked well It is almost ready now If you cook using the measurements given in this video it will taste perfect Now we will serve after garnishing with the remaining dry fruits
