Taro (yam), sweet potatoes, coconut milk 165ml, sago clean & peel off the skin of taro and sweet potatoes cut the taro and sweet potatoes into small chunks steam for 10minutes cook the half bowl of sago in hot boiled water, keep stirring to avoid sago from sticking switch off the fire when the sago turn semi-translucent cover the lid for 15mins, to make sure the sago turn translucent completely put half of the steamed taro, 2 cups of water, 165ml coconut milk into a blender pour the mixture from the blender into a pot, together with 900ml hot water stir put all remaining taro and sweet potatoes into boiling mixture mix well, then cover the lid, simmer for another 30min after 15minutes, open the lid from the sago pot strain the sago place the sago into a big pot of ice cold water strain the sago from the ice cold pot after 30minutes, the taro dessert is almost cooked add 4 tablespoons of caster sugar mix well the taro dessert is ready to eat add sago
