Vegetable biryani or veg biryani recipe in pressure cooker This veg biryani recipe yields a perfect light biriyani loaded with vegetables and mildly spiced Add oil to a pressure cooker and heat it

Add spices Bay Leaf 2 nos Fennel Seeds / Saunf / Sombu – 2 tsp Black Stone 2 , Marathi Moggu 3 ,Cardamom 2 Cloves 5 , Cinnamon 4 Star Anise 2 , Mace 2 add ghee 1 spoon roast it on low heat for few mins till it is well toasted Fry onions and green chilies 2nos until golden Add Turmeric fry till you get a nice aroma for one to two minutes Add Tomato 1 and saute until the raw smell goes off add Ginger Garlic Paste Fry few mins Add all chopped vegetables and fry for about 2 minutes Add all chopped vegetables – Potato, Carrort, Beans Stir well and taste the water If needed add more salt Add Mint leaves Add chilly powder 3 Spoon and fry for few minutes Measure and pour water Add Salt When the water begins to boil, add drained rice and mix

Close the lid and let the cooker whistle on a low flame ( 2 whistle ) Turn off the stove When the pressure goes down Open the lid and fluff upServe veg biryani with raita
